Senior Health Industry ExpoSunnet Technology Invites Director-General Liu Yi-Lian to Share Health & Wellness Insights
The First Senior Health Industry Expo, organized by the Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB), was held on August 2 at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall 1. This event focused on “Health Care,” “Happy Living,” and “Smart Services,” encouraging businesses to use smart technology to create a better living environment for seniors.
As an active developer of the senior health ecosystem, Sunnet Education Technology Group participated in the event to promote smart health care. On the opening day, Sunnet invited Liu Yi-Lian, Director-General of the Taoyuan Health Bureau, to give a lecture on how seniors can maintain a high-quality life in the digital era.

Liu Yi-Lian emphasized that as society undergoes demographic shifts and lifestyle changes, it is essential for seniors to learn how to maintain a high quality of life.
A distinguished expert with a Doctorate in Health Policy from Johns Hopkins University, a Master’s in Public Health from National Taiwan University, and a Master’s in Law from National Chengchi University, Director-General Liu is one of the few interdisciplinary specialists with expertise in both public health and law.
During his engaging talk, he encouraged seniors to plan their lives proactively, advocating for:
Daily goal-setting for a sense of purpose
7-8 hours of sleep for optimal health
Balanced nutrition for overall well-being
At least 15 minutes of regular exercise to stay active
He highlighted that life expectancy has significantly increased, but without proper self-care, seniors may face declining quality of life.

Director-General Liu also noted that “integrated healthcare and eldercare” is the future trend, leveraging medical resources to support seniors in aging comfortably.
